A toxic flammable gas, CH₅N, produced by the decomposition of organic matter and synthesized for use as a solvent, in tanning, and in the manufacture of many products, such as dyes and insecticides.

A colorless gas (NH₂CH₃), having a strong ammoniacal odor, and resembling ammonia in many of its reactions.
