Any of various tropical often brightly colored cyprinid fishes of the genus Rasbora and related genera, including many species kept in home aquariums.

The typical genus of Rasborina, containing numerous small cyprinoids of the Oriental and African waters. The lateral line runs along the lower half of the caudal part.

A small fish, of the Cyprinidae family, similar to a minnow.
